My Philosophy
Nutrition therapy for all bodies.
It’s hard to live a full, meaningful life when we don’t allow ourselves to show up as we are. Fixating on food and our bodies can distract us from our true values. I’m here to help you in reclaiming trust in your own intuition, ditching diet culture, and cultivating self-compassion. I support my clients in expanding their mindset to embrace food as a source of pleasure, nourishment, and connection; you are allowed to enjoy food!
I welcome individuality and diversity in my practice. I’m passionate about providing LGBTQIA + -affirming, fat positive, weight inclusive care. I support clients from diverse backgrounds in incorporating their cultural values into healing their relationships with food, if it is important to them. As a Jewish provider, supporting Jewish clients with meeting their nutrition needs with regards to their cultural values holds a special place in my heart.
I am a white cisgender, heterosexual, straight-sized, able-bodied, Jewish woman. I was born and raised in an upper-middle class town and had access to higher levels of education. I recognize that my background and upbringing have uniquely influenced my experience, and that my lived experience is limited and may be different from yours. Our relationships with food are often influenced by our intersecting identities and I do my best to understand my own privileges and continue to learn how I can best support folks with identities different from my own.

My Values
As a dietitian, business owner, and human, I value compassion, authenticity, and curiosity. Here’s how I bring these values into my work with clients:
Compassion. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel seen and heard. Everyone’s journey is unique, and I meet clients where they are in their relationship with food and their bodies.
Authenticity. I show up as myself to build trust and genuine connections with my clients. Food and body image can be sensitive topics, and I want my virtual office to be a place that feels safe for my clients to show up as they are.
Curiosity. I love to get curious about things. “Can we get curious about this,” is probably my most commonly used phrase in sessions because I believe that exploring the WHY behind beliefs and behaviors can help us reflect and build understanding. Getting curious can challenge getting stuck in judgments about our responses so we can approach ourselves more compassionately.
A few fun facts about me…
I love going to the library and coming home with a stack of new books to read. My TBR stack usually includes a mix of thrillers, fiction, and memoirs.
I like to bake and cook. My favorite foods to make are challah, bread bowls, broccoli cheddar soup pies and white chocolate chip chai snickerdoodle cookies.
When I’m not seeing clients, I like to spend time outside with my husband and rescue pup Finley, who also serves as the office administrator.
